The ECB this week released new guidelines for junior cricket. The key areas are:
- Shorter pitches
- Shorter boundaries
- Less players
- Shorter games
ECB recommend the following pitch lengths for 2019
Age 8/9 = 15 yards
Age 10/11 = 17 yards
Age 12/13 = 19 yards
